Mister Crimson triumphs on Street Fighter VI at Ultimate Fighting Arena 2023!

No less than eleven tournaments were taking place simultaneously, throughout one weekend, for Europe’s biggest fighting video-game event. In Aubervilliers, close to Paris, France, gathered the world’s top pro-gamers, all trying to reach the top.

While his countryman William “Glutonny” Belaïd was performing on Smash Ultimate, France’s Nathan “Mister Crimson” Massol was striving on Street Fighter VI. A rather tough task, given the high level of the competition, with adversaries such as Britain’s Problem X and EndingWalker, winner of edition 2022.

With 541 competitors, the Street Fighter VI tournament was an important step in the race to qualify to the upcoming Capcom Cup, taking place in February. Mister Crimson took his chance, defeating his countryman Cuongster in the semis, before winning against Problem X in the main stage.

Facing incumbent EndingWalker in the finals, Mister Crimson remained calm and managed to win after a suspenseful clash, earning two championship points and a 3.000€ cashprize. A victory that reinforces the position of French gamers on the versus-fighting European scene.
