The global launch of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III" is slated for November 10

In the ever-evolving realm of gaming and technology, innovation knows no bounds. Here is the latest development in this sphere; Activision is set to usher in a new era with the launch of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III" by introducing a cutting-edge moderation system.

What sets this system apart is its utilization of AI, designed to swiftly detect instances of hate speech during real-time voice chats. Thus, November 10 marks not just the release of the latest "Call of Duty" video game but also a new "player" in the gaming experience.

However, the inaugural beta test occurred on August 30 in North America, featuring "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II" and "Call of Duty: Warzone".

In fact, Activision is introducing an AI-driven voice chat moderation system alongside the game launch. Powered by ToxMod, an AI moderation technology by Modulate, this system will actively detect and enforce against toxic speech in real-time. This includes hate speech, discriminatory language, harassment, and more, as detailed in the official blog.

In the digital realm, AI has become a prevalent tool for moderating user-generated content. Typically, platforms employ AI to filter out specific words designated by users. However, it's worth noting that a subset of internet users has been growing more inventive in their efforts to bypass these moderation systems.
